I also think its better to buy a plastic tree for Christmas, provided you then use it again and again and again. We bought our plastic 6 foot high Xmas tree in December 1979, and are faithfully still decorating and using it every Christmas. Same baubles too – although we have added to them over the year. I’m sure this is more eco-friendly than buying 40 real christmas trees.
