Free pint if England score? Back of the net!
Greene King is giving away free pints… but only if England score
We don’t normally support this sort of madness, but a lot of you will like this. Greene King has partnered with footballing legend Jimmy Bullard. Yes, that’s the England former footballer and coach in the picture. And yes, you get a free pint if England score.
The nation can grab their free pint at their local Greene King pub if England score against Netherlands in the hotly anticipated semi-final tonight. All customers need to do is say the words, “England scored, please pour,” to redeem their complimentary pint, once the final whistle has been blown.
Following the success against Switzerland in the quarter final, with Trent Alexander-Arnold bagging the winning penalty, Gareth Southgate’s men will be hoping to move one step closer to bringing football home with a win against Netherlands this evening.
“After having a career in football, I’ve seen first-hand the passion this nation has for the sport…”
Having scored five goals in the tournament so far, the odds for free pints is looking good for the nation, but as always in sport, nothing is guaranteed.
Bullard said, “After having a career in football, I’ve seen first-hand the passion this nation has for the sport and as this tournament has proven, nothing is guaranteed in football.
“The addition of a free pint is enough to put a smile on my face, especially when the games so far have been so agonising to watch. I’ll be enjoying a refreshing pint – free of charge! No brainer!”
The offer entitles pubgoers to one free pint of either Greene King IPA, Yardbird Pale Ale, Old Speckled Hen, Old Golden Hen, House Bitter, False Nine, Level Head Session IPA, Flint Eye Dry-Hopped Lager, Hazy Day Hazy IPA, Prior Life All Day IPA, Ice Breaker Pale Ale or a soft drink alternative.

Please drink responsibly. One pint per person, not per goal!
